Bailaz shoes are designed to fit true to size and are primarily based on EU sizing. We recommend choosing the EU size you most commonly use in other major sneaker brands, e.g. Nike, Adidas, etc. If you don't know your EU size, use our sizing chart to find the perfect fit.

If you're between sizes, consider the fit you prefer — for a snug fit, go with the smaller size; for a looser fit, choose the larger size. For any specific sizing concerns, feel free to contact our customer support team.

With the internal heel in Bailaz sneakers, you'll notice a subtle lift to your height. The elevated heel is key to ensuring you stay on the balls of your feet while dancing. Our primary focus is on comfort and performance, ensuring you feel confident and stylish on the dance floor.

Wide Fit is built on a genuinely wider last (roughly a D/E width), giving extra room across the toe box and forefoot — it's a great option if you have bunions, a wider foot shape, or just prefer more room to move. It's a different, purpose-built shoe rather than just "the same shoe sized up," which is why there's a small price difference between Standard and Wide Fit.

Wide Fit is currently available in two colourways — Arctic (white) and Midnight (all black) — both fully in stock. It isn't yet available across every style, so if you love a specific colourway that's only offered in Standard Fit, that's the one to go with.

As of June 2026 our Wide Fit sizing was relabelled, so your labelled size is the size to trust — no need to size down.

Stand on a piece of paper against a wall, and mark the point at your heel and at the tip of your longest toe. Measure the distance between the two marks in centimetres — that's your foot length. Match this against our sizing chart to find your EU size.

If you also have a wider forefoot or find you regularly need extra room across the toes, take a width measurement too and consider our Wide Fit range.

We don't currently stock half sizes. If you're between two sizes, we'd generally suggest sizing up to the next whole size for a more comfortable fit — and if it's not quite right once it arrives, your first exchange is free within Australia.

Our Dance Orthotics are designed to replace the standard insole that comes in the shoe, not sit on top of it. Before inserting your orthotics, remove the original insole from the shoe — trying to fit both in together will make the shoe feel tight and can affect the fit.

They're designed to work with all Bailaz models, including the Wide Fit range, and feature targeted arch support to improve foot alignment and reduce fatigue during long dance sessions.

Dance Orthotics are currently available down to EU37 — if you need something smaller, they can be trimmed down to size, since the support technology is built into the ball and heel area rather than the very tip.

Genuine leather is delicate and does need care to ensure its longevity and preserve its freshness. To clean your genuine leather Bailaz shoes, follow these steps:

1. Remove any dirt or dust with a soft brush or cloth.
2. Use a damp cloth with a mild soap solution to gently wipe the leather surface.
3. Avoid soaking the leather and keep it away from direct heat sources.
4. After cleaning, apply a leather conditioner to keep the leather soft and supple.
5. Let your shoes air dry naturally.

Yes — our HempVibe (hemp fabric) and Raw Indigo (raw denim) styles are both 100% vegan. They're built on exactly the same sole and structure as our genuine leather styles (like Arctic, Stitch, and Café Rhythm) — the only difference is the upper material, so performance on the dance floor is identical either way. It really just comes down to the look and feel you prefer.

Yes, a little — this is completely normal. Our PU outsoles have the most "glide" when brand new, and you may notice a subtle difference in slipperiness compared to an older, more worn-in pair. This is expected wear over time rather than a fault.

Yes, that's completely fine — plenty of customers do this when they're deciding between sizes or styles. Just make sure the pair(s) you're returning stay in original, unworn condition with tags attached and original packaging, so they're eligible under our standard returns policy.

International delivery times vary by destination — as a general guide, expect somewhere in the range of 6–15 business days from dispatch, though the exact estimate for your country will show at checkout.

Import duties, taxes, and VAT (where applicable) are the customer's responsibility and are set by your local customs authority based on your order value — these aren't something we can control or waive. For customs purposes, we're also required to declare the actual value of your order, so we're not able to mark parcels as a lower value to reduce any charges.
